Davenport Code of Conduct. « Thread Started on Apr 11, 2008, 5:20pm »
As you probably know by now, every RP forum must come with the obligatory set of rules. I've tried not to make these ones too difficult to follow, so if you just pay attention to them you should be fine.
Regarding Roleplaying
+ You MUST wait until your character is accepted before roleplaying.
+Please make your claims after being accepted.
+Your username must consist of your character's first and last name.
+Please, unless you're in the c-box or in a character communications thread (Myspace, AIM, etc), no chat speak.
+You know what gets on a lot of people's nerves? One word replies. As a result, the minimum number of words you must have in your posts is 300, not including character communications. It shouldn't be too hard; around two or three solid paragraphs.
+No god-modding. You have control over your own character only; what another character does is up to them.
+Each member is required to have an avatar and signature, although if the signature is too big (for example, if it stretches out the board), I'll have to delete it.
+Mature content (i.e. sex, drugs, etc.) is allowed, just as long as you put a warning in the title of a thread that includes it. (Codeword is Carpe Diem)
+Members are allowed multiple characters, but you MUST create a new account for every character that you make.
Regarding Anything OOC
+Advertisements belong in the advertising boards only.
+No Ooc fighting, please. In character fights are inevitable, but once you start personal fights with another member, you're in trouble.
+You are allowed to post in the OOC boards before being accepted.
+If you're planning on being offline for a long period of time, please post in the Absences board.
+If you're planning on deleting your account, please contact me so I can make your canon available again.
+Gay is not a synonym for stupid. That's all I'm going to say.
Rules of the School After all, your character has to know which rules to follow; or, possibly, which ones to break.
+Students are allowed off campus as long as school staff has been notified.
+Electronic devices such as phones and music players are not to be used during school hours.
+Romantic relationships between students and teachers are strictly prohibited.
+Students are not to be in dormitories of the opposite sex after eight o'clock.
+Students must attend all classes unless an absence has been excused.
+Any violent acts committed by either a student or a teacher are not tolerated and will result in severe punishment.
